Wolverine 173 preview!

the preview pages don't have Wolverine in them at all, it's all Nighty, baby!!! (and Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike) and i quote; "my days as a man of the cloth are behind me" still wearing the collar tho.... as far as i gather, this is part of a story arc spanning 3 or 4 issues, so we may be seeing more of Nighty in Wolverine in upcoming months

why is it that the blue furry guys have to play th part of punching bag in recent X-books? i mean, gah, poor beast, put into a coma twice recently, then Nightcrawler gets shot, and now this! poor guys...

so we're all storming our respective comic shops come wednesday, huh? screw this silly Shi-Ar invasion in New, we have NC4, his Evo debut, and THIS with that tasty tidbit of him no longer being in the priesthod!! (tho still wearing the collar... odd) great month for us Nightcrawler fans, huh? i mean, earlier this month he was lookin fine in Uncanny twice, and Paradise X... kinda. you know speaking of Uncanny... i think this issue of Wolverine has spoiled next issue of Uncanny to some degree. with Uncanny's lateness problems, i seem to recall Uncanny 404 was originally supposed to come out the *same time* as this, so... i am thinking he leaves the priesthood 404.

i wonder how much Nighty will show up in the rest of this issue/arc? i want to see him and Wolverine kick ass against Sabes and Lady Deathstrike and Omega Red! tho i don't read Wolverine regularily, so i am not up to speed on the latest... from what i have been able to gather, apparently Weapon X is doing recruiting and that's why they are going after Wolverine and his pals, and this is the first issue in the 'Logan Files' story arc, and is kicking off a Weapon X monthly series in a few months... so Nighty is in a historic story arc to boot!
